Gregory C. Demakis

Meet Greg: 

Greg is a Lynn native and graduate of Colgate College and Yale Law School. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Essex County, trying more than 30 Superior Court cases in just three years before transitioning into private practice. Greg’s work spans business and corporate law, real estate transactions, commercial leasing, liquor licensing, and estate planning. He has negotiated complex leases for major national property owners and was the attorney for the first Outback Steakhouse franchisee in New England, handling the leases for the region’s first 19 locations. Greg has represented clients ranging from multinational restaurant chains to convenience and liquor store owners and has also advised major league baseball players such as Scott Bradley and Todd Burns. In addition to his legal work, he serves as President of the Gerondelis Foundation, a charitable organization with over $30 million in assets. Greg lives on the North Shore with his wife, Joan, and has two children, Charlie and Julie.
